Tiffany Wilson is a Project Manager for the Building Design Branch of the Department of Public Works and Environmental Services (DPWES) for Fairfax County, Virginia. As a licensed architect for over twenty years, Tiffany has worked in various capacities within private and public sectors as well as owning her own businesses. Her architectural background ranges from the smallest of residential additions to corporate complexes, hospitals and institutional architecture.After graduating with her master’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning, Tiffany interviewed down the East Coast, accepting an architectural intern position in Jacksonville, Florida. It was in Jacksonville that she met her husband and had two beautiful children. Her journey has taken her from Florida to Virginia, where she and her family currently reside. 

“I was a Biomedical Engineer Technician, repairing and maintaining medical machines in hospitals. As a BioMed Tech, my job was to work effortlessly to not disturb patients, doctors or nurses. When designing spaces and buildings, I strive to seek out and design for those individuals behind the scenes that keep places running smoothly.”
